I'm a passionateI am a product designer who loves solving complex problems and crafting delightful user experiences.who designs paywalls, pricing pages and the screens after them. With over five years years of experience across diverse industries, I bring a user-centered, data-driven approach to every project.of shipping the money decision at Fullbay and Couchsurfing. I bring a decision tree. I'm a strong communicator, a team player, and a lifelong learner.Eight people on the home page say what I am like to work with. Let's connect and build something amazing together!hibrandondunlevy@gmail.com

Core values

  1. 1.Every number comes with its counter-metric.

If trial starts went up, I want to know what happened to cancellations, refunds and support load. A change that moves one number and breaks another is a problem that has not shown up yet. Every result on this site is reported with the guardrails I watched.

  2. 2.I only claim what the design moved.

Most launches change the offer and the interface at the same time. I claim the direction. I claim the size only when the design can be separated from the offer, because working that out after the fact is guesswork.

  3. 3.I say when I do not know.

Five usability sessions can find the blocking problems. They cannot size an effect. A cohort eight weeks old says nothing honest about lifetime value. A result with its limit named is a result. Without the limit it is a claim.

  4. 4.I bring a decision tree instead of a deck.

A deck gets you a meeting next week. A tree gets an answer in the room. At Couchsurfing the CEO had one hour, so the paywall's decisions were four forks in one file, and he made them in one sitting.

  5. 5.I build the tool that checks the work.

Shipping is half the job. The other half is the tooling that tells you whether it worked. This site reports its own numbers, and a feedback monitor I built reads what customers say every weekday.

Family

The reason for all of it

  1. Brandon and his wife, close together, smiling, in front of a big painted sign.

  2. Brandon's older daughter on the couch, holding the baby, someone else's forearm under the baby and fingers curled round her side.

I am a husband, a father, a lover of nature and animals, but really I am just a person who finds joy in the little moments and the people I share them with.

  3. The baby laughing on the couch, her own arm raised and pointing at the camera, held by her older sister, someone else's forearm behind the baby at the left edge.
    The laugh.

    Same couch, a second later

  4. Brandon pushing a stroller down a zoo path, his daughter walking ahead in a pink hat, a tortoise behind the fence.

Family is the heart of everything I do. Whether it is exploring zoos, aquariums, or nature trails, weekends are my time to create memories with the people who mean the most to me. These moments fuel my passion and remind me why I strive for the best in all areas of life.
